The Social Sciences and Philosophy Department
has several ways for students to get involved in campus activities
through its organizations. Phi Alpha Theta, and the History/International
Relations/Pre-Law and Political Science Club and Political Science
Club provide our students with the opportunity to study specific
issues in greater depth, serve the university and community, and
compete with some of the top scholars in the nation.

Phi Alpha Theta, an international honor society
for historians, is composed of chapters in properly accredited colleges
and universities. All students who have completed a required number
of history courses and are maintaining high standards in such an
institution are eligible for membership.
