A student is eligible to apply to the Master of Liberal Arts degree program if the following requirements are met:
- An applicant must hold a bachelor's
degree from a regionally accredited institution. (Students in the
final semester of undergraduate study may be admitted
conditionally.)
- An Applicant must have achieved an
undergraduate cumulative grade point average of 2.50 (on a 4.00
scale).
Previously Earned Credits
Students who are admitted to the MLA degree program
may apply up to nine transfer graduate credits toward the
satisfaction of degree requirements, subject to the following
conditions:
- The graduate credits must have been
earned at a regionally accredited university.
- Only liberal arts courses, not technical
or professional courses, are acceptable.
- Only courses with grades of B or A are
applicable.
- Previously earned ATU graduate credits
that are not of a technical or professional nature may be applied
to the MLA. A maximum of six graduate credits from a previously
awarded degree may be applied toward the MLA degree
requirements.
