English Graduate Assistants, Fall 2006

The Department of English offers a limited number of graduate assistantships.

Graduate assistants receive a $4000 stipend per academic year, a tuition waiver for up to 18 hours per year,and valuable teaching experience. Former Tech English graduate assistants have found full-time teaching positions at University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton, University of the Ozarks, North Arkansas Community College, and University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.

The English Department's graduate assistants staff a Writing Center where they offer students a range of assistance with writing and preparation for Praxis examinations. Click the link above to check the open hours.

 

In general, applications for graduate assistantship should be received by April 1 for consideration for fall assistantships.
