GRADES:  There will be 2 exams, each of which will constitute 35% of your grade.  There will also be quizzes and short writing assignments; all of those grades averaged together will constitute the remaining 30% of your grade.  All writing assignments must be typed, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all four sides, and in Times New Roman (size 12) font.  Be advised: I do not give makeup quizzes unless you were required by the university to miss class, nor do I accept late homework.  Period.

 

ATTENDANCE:  If you miss class 3 times, I will drop you with a WF (note that if you drop yourself, you receive a W).  You must be present to succeed in this course.  I will check roll during both halves of each class.
