To the Hypocrites of 9-11-01
by Michelle McKinney

Cry your eyes out you fake bastards and wave your American flags

"Oh, how that fateful day changed our lives!"

Run

Go to church and find god

Chant, "We want him dead!"

Scream, "Enduring freedom!" As you shuffle around in your slave chains

Worship Bush

"Oh, how he looks so distraught!"

Never mind that he's placed in communist Cuba all those fuckers that we caught

Show pride in your country
Run out and buy all their patriotic shit
Of course it's only coincidental that some fucker's getting rich

Join in on this war on terror
For it blinds you of the terror at home

The Federal Reserve creates money out of thin air
Yet there are homeless vets out there all alone

It's their choice to be out there, right?
But was it a choice when the draft ripped them from their home?

"Uncle Sam wants you!"

Well I guarantee those men out there want to fuck him, too

We're the richest nation in the world
Yet people go hungry everyday
There are people out there with millions in their pockets
Wanting more and 9-11's their new way

"Oh, we'll never forget!"

What a beautiful line of shit

Tell that to the men who served in WWI, II, Korea, and Vietnam
On the calendar they get one day
And to you it's just an excuse to stay home

Yeah, call me a heartless bastard
Because I speak the truth
But I've always loved my country
It didn't take 9-11 to give me proof

You're running scared like roaches when the lights flick on

"Oh, bless the men and women of the military. It's our freedom they're fighting for!"

I guess when your ass is on the line they're not baby killers anymore

I waved my flag before that fateful day
It's the only thing about this country worth fighting for

"These colors don't run!"

How the hell would you know?
The only ones who know are those who've lost their lives and
The ones who've vowed to risk theirs to keep this country free

You think you're a patriot because you shout your slogans,
wave your flags and have "God Bless America" stickers on your car?

How about picking up a rifle?

How about respecting the men who died so that flag could wave?

How about buying that Vet on the street a hot meal?

How about giving him something to keep warm?

But why do that when you can let the next guy, right?

You guys are real patriots

Truly American made

Just think, where would you be if the real patriots refused to fight?

Just where you are now—cold and locked up in a grave

Michelle McKinney is a warrior. Her military training and horrorshow life vindicate her patriotism for what America should be.
