| On August 12, 2004, Paul Lake and nineteen other recipients of the Porter Fund Award were recognized at a reception hosted by Mack McLarty at the Reception Hall of the Arkansas Governor's Mansion. Mr. Lake, the 1988 recipient of the award given annually to an outstanding Arkansas author, has published three books since coming to Tech: Another Kind of Travel, Walking Backward, and Among the Immortals |
