This is a course recommended only for students who can work and think independently. If you have a lot of trouble with writing, I would strongly recommend you take the regular in-class version of this course.

You must do the work. This means reading the information carefully and completing the assignments fully.

I expect the assignments turned in on time.

Also, you must use a word processing program compatible with Microsoft Word. Microsoft Works creates all sorts of problems with translation, and is not a good choice.

Always use your student e-mail account and please check it very regularly.

Finally, this course will be in flux all semester. I would avoid working in advance of the assignments listed for the coming week, especially without communicating with me first. This is especially important at the beginning of the semester, when things are just getting rolling. I will undoubtedly make changes: be prepared for them. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions.
