Of course, your paragraph needs to be as correct as you can make it. Use a spell checker and remember to look for homonyms (there, their, they're). Read your paragraph out load to catch awkward phrasings or missing words.
A paragraph is a group of sentences that are unified by a common idea or subject. In this case, your paragraph should focus on the dominant impression of your work space.
Coherence refers to the way in which your sentences stick together. There are two main factors in coherence: sequence and transition. Introduce descriptive detail in a spatially logical manner. When necessary, provide transitional phrases to show the relationship of one idea to what follows.
Even a correct, unified and coherent paragraph may not be convincing if it does not provide sufficient evidence (in this case-concrete, specific descriptive detail). |
